What to Bring

We recommend wearing comfortable and sturdy footwear, sunscreen, sunglasses, and other protective sun gear with any expedition into the great Floridian outdoors. Cameras are a must! If you are planning on getting in the water, make sure you have the appropriate gear, change of clothes, bathing suit, and towels. Please note: Aerial drones and pets are not allowed at Dry Tortugas National Park.

The Yankee Freedom Ferry has resumed normal capacity, but make sure to check out their enhanced procedures. The high-speed, state-of-the-art catamaran transports guests safely to the Dry Tortugas National Park. Stand on the upper deck, taking in the sea-salt air and marine sights, or grab a snack in the air-conditioned lower cabin, complete with cushioned seating and galley.
