Islamorada is located about two hours north of Key West, making for a great day trip while you’re staying with 1800 Atlantic. From April 2 to 3, 2022, the city’s popular Island Fest returns for its 30th anniversary. The festival, an annual Islamorada Chamber of Commerce fundraiser, is a wonderful family-friendly event where you can fully embrace the island life! - All-American Road Vintage Cruisers Car Show– see antique trucks, cars, and hot rods
- Family-Friendly Fun- build sandcastles, get your face painted, paint a life-sized statute, hula hoop, and more
- “Pirates, Ships and Treasure Chests” Sand Sculpture Contest- participate or be a friendly bystander

Island Fest will take occur from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at Founders Park, mile marker 87 bayside. Admission is free, and parking is available for a five-dollar minimum. Events will take place—rain or shine! You’re encouraged to bring along lawn chairs and blankets for a comfortable experience.
